Kristianne took this image at approximately 16,000 feet up on the now erupting
and unclimbable volcano Popocatapetl. She was on a mountaineering expedition
in 1993 to climb Popo as well as the other two volcanoes peaking out above
the clouds in the background. It was the last climbing season before Popocatapetl
