of a Voyage
The
fish jumping in the morning light, like silver daggers flying.
The fluffy clouds in morning flight give way to another night dying.
The decks awash with salty spray, the sails are full and pulling.
Another sign of a tradewinds day and the "Morning Winds" keep
going.
As the ocean reflects the Azure sky, and my long night's watch is past
The sailor asks the question why?
Why did I leave my loves to sail behind the mast?
This voyage around the world has taken me to unknown shores
God's greatness He has shown me, by opening my uncharted doors.
Kristianne
Koch Riddle is an adventure travel photographer exploring and capturing
our world in images that express it's beauty, intensity and gentleness.
She has captured thousands of moments in time during her travel adventures.
Whether
she is on top of a 19,000 foot peak in the Nevado de Toluca or reefing
in the sail on a 38 foot sailboat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean,
Kristianne is at home in the not so usual places that make up our unique
world.
Her passion to preserve the natural order of things-especially where
the land meets the sea - was ultimately inspired by a two year sailing
trip to the most isolated and beautiful islands on the planet.
Born
and raised in San Clemente, California she is aware of the fragility
of the coastline environment and the ever-changing demands humans continue
to put on it. Her intent is to inspire others to value and respect these
beautiful and limited ecosystems so future generations can continue
to enjoy them.
Kristianne's
timeless photographs express the simplicity of our world. Primarily
photographing the people and places she has visited: Africa, French
Polynesia, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico, Europe and the ocean and mountain
worlds of the United States, Kristianne's traditional fine art and commercial
