To take control of your own photography, you must set aside time to figure out what you want to say. 

To do this, make some decisions before you start photographing anything. Don’t just start shooting and expect to see something you were dreaming of creating.

Yep, that’s me. I just took an Enneagram test for fun. I don’t really like tests, being boxed in and defined. But, I have to admit this is too darn accurate. Now what? I guess it’s really good to stay mindful of my strengths and limitations. The following defines me so well. It all sounds so great but being spontaneous and free-spirited isn’t easy–especially when you are the mother of an Aspie.

I am so in love with shooting in the ocean. Most importantly I love connecting with other “water-lovers.” Being in the ocean is a special experience especially here on the California coast where the waves are like gold: respected, cherished and longed for. I am so excited to be able to bring together my two loves: photography and the ocean to all of my clients!

Thresholds Exhibition

I have been selected to exhibit a large collection of my photographs taken between 2006 and 2018 inspired by the “Village by the Sea” where I grew up. The photographs are from various series’ expressing freedom, discovery, vulnerability, and boundaries.
