Business Branding Imagery
Creating a cohesive vision for your business is so important to stand out from the rest of the crowd. Branding is sending a message about your business in a way that illustrates a mood, feeling, tone, with the intention of conveying a consistent message. When people think of your business, you want them to be able to describe it in a way that is unique to your brand. Photography branding simply sets you apart from the competition…
I have been selected to exhibit a large collection of my photographs taken between 2006 and 2018 inspired by the “Village by the Sea” where I grew up. The photographs are from various series’ expressing freedom, discovery, vulnerability, and boundaries.
Please SAVE THE DATE for the opening reception for my exhibition THRESHOLDS.
The opening reception is Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 6 pm. I would love to see you there! And be sure to get your copy of the Exhibition Catalog…
These are just some of my favorites from 2014 that I truly made ‘for me’ and nobody else.
I love to photograph families who just moved to the area or are visiting-and the Vinger family was no exception. I enjoy sharing local lore and knowledge with them so they can feel even more at home here where I grew up. This family was wonderful to work with although the middle boy kept running off (I could relate-I’m the middle child too) and was over the whole photography thing-unless he was the only one being photographed of course!

Angie and Merced were a delight to photograph. We spent magic hour at Calafia Beach in San Clemente and they had so much fun playing in the wooded area as well as the waves.

I have been busy with many many sessions but this one just seems like the best one to post as we are deep into summer! It was a gorgeous evening at T-Street with warm water, perfect barrels and balmy air. When I closed my eyes I could have easily been back at Oahu rolling in and out of the surf with my camera.
I had the pleasure and honor spending a day with this authentic, beautiful family who I have also photographed here and here.
Thank you for letting me witness and document your joy and love.
I’ve decided to do a weekly picture postcard series to get me energized and mindful about sharing some of the wonderful things I have in my life. I hope it encourages you to slow down and appreciate the simple things too. A little bit of “I am thankful…” all year ’round (thanks to Maliea’s wonderful preschool teacher, Monica Donaldson, for reminding me to think about what we are thankful for).
