Recurring themes emerge in this collection of photographs of the ocean and coastal surroundings.
Life is a journey. Every day we have the choice of how we will explore our world, connect with others, and define our boundaries. When we arrive at a physical or a theoretical threshold, we must decide if we are ready to leave behind the safety of the known for the fear of the unexplored.
My photography is a gift that allows me to leave the safe harbor. I filter life, emotions, and connections through my photographs. Each project gives me new insight into exploring deeper waters and allows me to show the viewer a fragment from the other side.
I work in diptychs, triptychs and three dimensions to give my work the depth and balance I feel represent my experience as an artist.
